Coating a Partially Wrapped Vehicle: Keep Material Boundaries Clear

A partially wrapped vehicle contains different substrates within one visual area. Preparation and product selection should respect those boundaries.

Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

Practical approach

Map painted, filmed and decorative sections before work. Confirm which product and method apply to each section.

A hood graphic can divide one panel into exposed paint and film, making one uniform polishing routine inappropriate.

Decision limits

Do not let a convenient panel boundary override a material boundary. Work to the actual surface construction.
