A material's reported electrical behaviour does not automatically establish anti-static performance in a finished coating.

A material’s reported electrical behaviour does not automatically establish anti-static performance in a finished coating. A borophene product should only carry that functional claim when relevant evidence supports the complete system.
Ask what anti-static behaviour means for the application and how it was measured. Identify the coating, substrate, preparation and test conditions. A paper about an isolated or supported material is not a direct test of a retail formulation applied to paint.
A cleaner-looking panel after one exposure may reflect several conditions. It should not be presented as an electrical measurement or proof that the additive caused the difference. If reduced dust accumulation is the actual customer concern, evaluate that outcome separately under a defined procedure.
Keep electrical function and visible cleanliness distinct. Borophene’s research reputation may motivate investigation, but a professional product claim needs evidence for the function being sold rather than an assumed transfer from material-level properties.
