A full polishing range.
From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
Clarify whether treatment happens before or after fabrication and what handling follows.

A fabricator's coating brief should explain where treatment fits into the manufacturing and installation sequence. A product may be evaluated on a finished sample while the real project includes further handling or fabrication. Make those later stages visible before approving the process.
Identify the supplied surface, existing treatments and intended application point. State whether cutting, assembly, transport or site adjustment follows. Do not assume that approval of a finished decorative panel also covers every intermediate production condition.
Provide the coating manufacturer with the actual workflow and current finish information. Ask for product-specific guidance on relevant application and handling requirements. For example, treating panels off site creates a need to preserve their identity and inspect changes before final installation.
Agree a representative sample, appearance review and records for the treated components. Identify who updates the record if a panel is repaired or substituted. Provide the client with product identity and maintenance instructions for the final installation. The brief should help the fabricator, coating supplier and site team coordinate a supported process. It should not reduce the decision to whether a product can be applied to stainless steel in general while ignoring the actual finish and production sequence.
Provide the material and exposed finish references, fabrication sequence, handling steps, intended installation environment and customer's appearance requirements. State whether coating is proposed before or after assembly and which surfaces remain accessible.
Ask who owns compatibility approval, appearance acceptance, application and final care instructions. If fabrication or finishing changes after the trial, review the impact before reusing the approval. Keep panel identification through delivery and installation. The brief should connect the fabricator's work to the coating process and building handover, so a successful sample does not become detached from the actual finish and handling conditions of the production components.
