Check appliance approval before coating an induction hob; a temperature-resistance claim alone does not establish suitability for the assembly.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge

A coating described as heat resistant is not automatically suitable for an induction hob. The exposed glass-ceramic surface belongs to an appliance with controls, markings, seals and specified cleaning methods.
Identify the exact model and consult the manufacturer about aftermarket surface treatments. Describe the intended product and application area. Do not infer permission from approval for ordinary window glass or decorative glass panels.
A temperature number addresses only part of this review, and only under the conditions of the supporting test.
Do not use a functioning hob as an exploratory test surface or heat an unknown coating to see what happens. Any authorised evaluation should be designed with the relevant manufacturer or qualified laboratory and appropriate safety controls.
If the appliance maker does not support the proposed use, retain its approved maintenance method. A decorative coating that works on a nearby backsplash may still be inappropriate for the cooking surface. Record exclusions in the project scope so the installer and homeowner understand exactly which glass areas are being treated and which remain under appliance-specific care instructions.
Ask NANOLAB about your surface and intended use. For application and care, use the current instructions for the exact product.
