A raw-material price does not directly determine the value of a finished coating.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge
A raw-material price does not directly determine the value of a finished coating. A graphene or borophene bottle includes a formulation and a commercial offer that should be compared on its own terms.
Check whether the quoted item is an additive, dispersion, bulk coating or packaged finished product. Confirm quantity and what is included. Do not compare a price for raw material with a ready-to-use coating as though the remaining manufacturing and support work were identical.
A brand owner may care about product suitability, packaging, support and positioning as well as the unit price. If a supplier claims a technical advantage, request the relevant evidence. If the difference is mainly commercial presentation, keep that visible rather than describing it as a measured material effect.
A useful comparison makes the supplied scope clear. The material name may affect market appeal, but the customer’s decision should concern the complete product and the value actually included in the offer.
Discuss a private-label coating project or ask NANOLAB about the exact formula for your application.
