Atomic patterns and shield graphics can support a product identity, but they can also imply a microscopic structure or protection level that has not been demonstrated. Review the message the artwork creates.

Label conceptual imagery

If a graphic is a schematic illustration, make that clear where it could otherwise be mistaken for measurement. Do not show a continuous pure-material layer over paint as though that is the verified structure of an additive-containing coating. A visual can overclaim even when the accompanying sentence is cautious.

Use design for the right purpose

Premium packaging can rely on typography, colour and product clarity rather than an invented mechanism. If a graphic explains a supported concept, keep it proportionate to the evidence. Ask whether a customer would infer a stronger claim from the image than the product documentation supports.

Good design makes an accurate offer memorable. Graphene and borophene can provide a distinctive visual language without turning decorative science imagery into a substitute for product evidence.
