Black paint can make changes in appearance easy to notice, but a graphene label does not guarantee a flawless finish. The coating must suit the actual paint system and be applied using its current instructions.
Inspect the finish before coating and record any existing marks. If polishing is part of the job, inspect again before application so the customer can distinguish preparation from the coating’s contribution. Use lighting that reveals residue and unevenness rather than judging only under flattering conditions.
Ask about the exact product’s suitability, application process and care requirements. Do not assume that a dark graphene-containing liquid is designed specifically for dark paint, or that its colour predicts the final appearance. A trial on a suitable test area should answer the finish question more directly than a material-name comparison.
The useful promise is a properly selected and applied coating with clear expectations. Graphene can be part of its identity, while surface condition and workmanship remain central to the visible result.
