Changing an additive supplier is not merely a purchasing detail when the ingredient identity supports a product claim.

Changing an additive supplier is not merely a purchasing detail when the ingredient identity supports a product claim. A borophene coating should retain a clear connection between the supplied material and the wording used to describe it.
Review material designation, grade and relevant characterisation rather than assuming two similarly named products are equivalent. Ask the formulator which differences matter to the finished coating. A lower price or familiar catalogue term does not by itself establish interchangeability.
If the new information supports a broader or different material description, revise the marketing wording accordingly. Also review whether the product’s existing performance evidence remains applicable. Do not hide a changed ingredient description behind an unchanged bottle name. Customers should receive an accurate explanation of the current product.
Supplier flexibility can be commercially useful, but it should operate within a controlled specification. Keep identity, finished-product evaluation and customer-facing claims aligned whenever a borophene-related ingredient source changes.
Discuss a private-label coating project or ask NANOLAB about the exact formula for your application.
