Practical approach
Identify the coating and glass construction before considering abrasives. Obtain an approved method and clarify any reapplication requirement.
A stubborn mark should not automatically trigger the same abrasive process used on uncoated glass.
Decision limits
Do not promise preservation of the original coating when the proposed correction may remove or change it.
