Practical approach
Use clean, suitable towels and change them when their condition no longer supports safe drying. Keep dropped towels out of the active process.
A towel touching a lower dirty area should not immediately be dragged across a clean upper panel.
Decision limits
Do not treat softness as proof of cleanliness. Inspect and manage the towel throughout the job.
