Coating Marks That Reappear After Drying

Water can temporarily change how a defect is seen. A mark disappearing when wet does not establish that it has been removed.

Practical approach

Inspect after the approved cleaning and drying process under consistent light. Record both wet and dry observations if useful.

A customer may believe a mark is gone during rinsing, only to see it again after drying.

Decision limits

Do not judge correction success solely on a wet surface. Evaluate the final dry condition using the agreed inspection method.
