From cutting and one-step correction to final finishing.
Compare ceramic shampoos using their approved methods and separate observations for cleaning, rinsing, dry appearance and added surface protection.

A fair ceramic shampoo comparison needs more than two foam photos. Begin by checking whether the products are intended to do the same job. A cleaning-only maintenance shampoo and a wash-and-protect formula can both be useful, but their results should not be reduced to one beading score.
Decide whether you are comparing cleaning performance, ease of use, protective effect or total routine cost. Use comparable surfaces and soil, and record any existing coating. If the starting conditions differ, include that limitation in the result.
Follow each product’s approved dilution and application method. Equal amounts of concentrate do not automatically create a fair comparison between different formulas.
Record water source, equipment, wash media, working conditions and rinse method. Use clean separate tools where needed to avoid transferring one product into the other’s test area. Avoid runoff across a comparison boundary that would make the results difficult to interpret.
For a more formal claim, use an appropriate repeatable test design rather than a casual driveway demonstration.
Record visible soil removal, ease of contact washing, rinse effort, streaks and the final dry appearance. Observe water behaviour only after the instructed process is complete, and label it as the behaviour of the resulting surface.
If the product leaves protection, inspect again after subsequent normal washes. State the actual observation period instead of extrapolating a short result into a long durability claim.
Explain which product better suited the tested routine and why. Include trade-offs such as equipment requirements or residue sensitivity. Do not declare a universal winner from one surface and one wash. A useful comparison gives readers enough context to decide whether the same product fits their vehicle, coating system and maintenance conditions.
