An installer should be able to explain how the proposed process fits your boat.
Updated · NANOLAB Knowledge
An installer should be able to explain how the proposed process fits your boat. The most useful questions concern surface identification, preparation and care after the work is finished.
How will the installer identify gelcoat, paint and repaired areas? Which defects need another specialist? Request an explanation of the proposed test area and the finish that preparation can reasonably achieve. This makes expectations concrete before scheduling the job.
Discuss access, shelter and the curing window. Confirm the exact product and which parts of the vessel it is intended to treat. Ask how weather interruptions or unexpected surface conditions will be handled. A clear answer should connect the product instructions with the actual work site.
Find out what written care guidance and completion records you will receive. Clarify how to report a persistent mark, changed water behaviour or a later repair. If a warranty is offered, read its actual scope and conditions rather than inferring it from a sales description. Keep those documents with the accepted quotation.
Use the quote checklist and the NANOLAB distributor finder.
