When to Add Nano Coating During a Renovation

The timing of a home coating project should account for dust, sealants, installation work and the required curing period. A surface that looks ready may still be scheduled for work that would disturb the finish.

List the remaining trades

Identify painting, drilling, silicone work, appliance installation and final cleaning still to be completed. Ask who will handle the proposed coated areas afterward. Where practical, schedule coating after dusty and contaminating tasks, while respecting the finish and sealant manufacturers’ requirements.

Reserve a protected interval

Confirm when the treated area can be touched, exposed to water and cleaned. Plan access so residents and contractors do not inadvertently use it too early. Keep the product instructions specific to the selected surface instead of borrowing a curing schedule from another application.

Handover the completed scope

Inspect dry surfaces under normal room lighting and record existing defects or exclusions. Give the owner the coating identity and aftercare instructions before the space enters normal use. If later work damages or contaminates an area, arrange a local assessment and update the record rather than silently adding more product.
